Grand Opening of the 134th China Autumn Canton Fair 2023

On October 15th, 2023, the 134th China Autumn Import and Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Canton Fair), which has received worldwide attention, was officially opened at the Guangzhou Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

This year's Canton Fair is jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the China Market Research Association, the State Council's Western Development Office, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. It serves as an important platform for trade exchanges not only in China but also globally, showcasing Chinese enterprises and their products to the world.

Since its establishment in spring 1957, the Canton Fair has now successfully held 133 sessions, remaining fresh and vibrant over the decades. With decades of development, the Canton Fair has become the longest running, highest level, largest scale, most complete range of commodities, and the most widely attended international trade exhibition with the largest number of buyers from various countries and regions.

This year's Canton Fair focuses on the themes of "innovation, technology, and green", with over 25,000 participating enterprises and expected to attract over 200,000 global buyers and trade visitors. The fair will be held over three periods, each with a different theme and focus.

Period 1 (October 15-19): Electronic consumer products and information technology products, household appliances, lighting products, general machinery and mechanical basic parts, power and electrical equipment, processing machinery equipment, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, electronic and electrical products, hardware and tools;

Period 2 (October 23-27): Domestic ceramic products, household items, kitchenware, woven and wrought iron crafts, garden products, household decorations, gifts and premiums, glass crafts, art ceramic products, clocks and watches, building and decoration materials, bathroom equipment, furniture;

Period 3 (October 31-November 4): Home textiles, textile raw materials fabrics, rugs and tapestries, fur skins and down feather products, clothing accessories and fittings, men's and women's clothing, underwear, sportswear and casual wear, foodstuffs, sports goods and tourism leisure goods, luggage(women's bags,totes,handbags and so on), medical care products and medical equipment, pet products, bathroom items, personal care products for daily use, office stationery, toys, children's clothing, maternity and baby care products.

It is understood that this year's Canton Fair will continue until November 15th. During this period, a series of trade promotion activities and forums will also be held. Participants from all over the world will conduct in-depth exchanges and collaborations here to discuss market trends and business opportunities.
